Fog and frost

A cold morning -5 degrees when I went out to feed the birds, 2 degrees colder than yesterday.

After, shower, hair wash and breakfast I walked to meet K and go for a walk over the field to Shoebury, the ships fog horns were sounding but it wasn't until we went to cross the field that we saw the fog. Everywhere looked magical with the frosted plants and fog. As we approached Shoebury and the River Thames we were surprised by the number of people out walking. We stopped for a coffee and to warm up, then started to walk back, as we walked the sun started to burn off the fog, see blip, extra was from our walk across the field, wish I'd had my camera with me. 

Had lunch and then went to our friend for the afternoon, very enjoyable. This evening I've been doing a rather difficult jigsaw.
