My Surviving Passion

This is my passion flower. I very lucky to still have it because 3 years ago I asked hubby to prune it back by about a third. "OK", he says and I continued doing other bits and bobs in the garden. You can image my horror, when a while later he asks me to check that he's pruned it back enough, I discover it's now only 18 inches out of the ground and a single stalk!!!!

Well, I was totally speechless and for those that know me well, this rarely happens. This is the first time it's bloomed since "that day" and hubby has successfully managed never to be asked to prune again - was that his plan in the first place???

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments yesterday regarding my car issues. From today until Sunday I'm going to be rather occupied with the wedding and our "After Wedding Bash" so apologise for my lack of comments.
