Never Off Duty

The Thin Blue Line, something that can be the only difference between calm and chaos. Some say these badges are political or offensive. The badges are sold by the Care of Police Survivors charity to raise funds for the families of police officers that die on duty.

The Thin Blue Line badge is worn as a mark of respect for those officers. It has long been my Blip avatar. 

Yesterday, just a few miles down the road from here, an officer lost her life stopping to help members of the public who had been involved in a car accident. She was not on duty but by stopping it shows police are never off duty. She leaves a family that will need care.
