Caught!

Following on from yesterday's Oystercatcher, a Curlew catching what looks like a small crab. Seven different wader species along at the Joppa end of prom - Curlew, Oystercatcher, Bar Tailed Godwit. Redshank, Turnstone, Sanderling and Dunlin. Don't know exactly why there seem to be so many waders on the beach at the moment but good to see them all. The Oystercatchers are very noisy - presumably courtship displays.
