Looking at the Peaches
Today's walking took us to the Banking, and the rocks on the foreshire to an area known as Betsy's Kirn
I bought a postcard, which shows the Bathing Huts which used to be set on the rocks.
I wanted tto see if I could find the location, as I could swear that one day, driving past I spotted the remnants of the stakes.
Oh dearie me.
1. it was freezing
2. My ears were uncovered
3. I didn't tie my hair back
4. It was really cold.
5 The rocks were slippy
6. We clambered all over rocks which weren't near them.
7. We spotted them from where we were, but there was no path.
8 We had to walk back the way we came, through slippy rocks, and grass and mud.
9 And then back down to the rocks again, on slippy rocks, and grass.
10. Did I mention I hadn't tied my hair back . So I was slipping and sliding everywhere.
We didn't walk that far. From the car park along to one end of the prom. Down over the grass and over the rocks to the water. Heaven's but my calves and my ears are killing me.
