Before....

Before, and after it all went wrong yesterday.

Spoke to Hayley today after Reggie's tobogganing accident. A group of them were having a great time, then Reggie crashed into one of the group. Sounds like absolute chaos when it happened. Blood everywhere on the snow, Hayley not able to see what damage was done, Reggie 
 crying, the child Reggie crashed into is on the spectrum, he didn't understand 'accident' thought Reg was trying to kill him. Mum trying to comfort him, Hayley dealing with Reggie.

She took him to A&E, they were great, but said he needed to go to another hospital that deals with plastic surgery.So a trip across Manchester. They were seen and advised he'd have to be stitched, so nil by mouth this morning as he'd need a GA.

Luckily, when they arrived early this morning the Doctor felt it was healing well enough with the steri strip, and stitching wouldn't leave less of a scar. Great relief for Hayley as obviously she didn't want him to have a GA, especially as he's waiting for a Paediactric Cardiologist appointment atm.

She nearly rang me at 6am to get up to Manchester to take Emmeline to the theatre. A group of Hayley's girlfriends and their daughters (all-around Emmeline's age)  were/are seeing 'Wicked' in Manchester. Hopefully they are all enjoying that as I write (at home!)
