Postbox

You can normally tell the age of an area by the postboxes. This postbox is just at the end of my road and is marked GR for King George V.  He reigned between 1910 and 1936. I would say that our estate dates to the late 1920s to early 1930s.

I love finding old postboxes and I wonder if, in time, they will become something of the past. I hope not.

Nothing compares to receiving a card, letter through the post from a friend or family member. Something that is tangible - unlike an email.
