Camping

One of my favourite pastimes - camping - and this is my favourite spot, El Pilar in La Palma.

It is a 'zona recreativa' at 1,500 metres above sea level in the pine forest where there are purpose built bbq's complete with logs, all provided for free. We were meeting up with a group of friends, forty of us, with the aim of chatting, eating, eating and chatting. And I thnk there was some drinking too. Oh, and guitar playing.

A wonderful way to spend the weekend.
