Los Angeles fires

My grandson is serving a church mission in the Los Angeles area. He's doing fine.  The picture on the left is taken in Pasadena, and the one on the right is taken in Rancho Cucamonga, several miles to the east.  Just makes you wonder how so many fires got started and the area was so unprepared.
