What a good day
Working. Minus 6 in Penicuik then to Carberry for afternoon tea with these three ladies. We all met when pregnant in the year 2000 so celebrating 25 years and 11 children between us.
Have to say MUCH better than the Fingal of a few weeks ago. Perfect balance of food and perfect ambience.
Home quick turn as round and out to my old local Moorflix cinema which always feels like a homecoming, with all the old friends and faces. Movie tonight was the excellent The Holdovers, a film that I probably wouldn’t have chosen but intelligent , thought provoking, funny and heartwarming. Five beans in the jar.
