Near Arnside.

W has been at home all week and fancied a day out. He picked Arnside. We walked south along the estuary towards Morecambe Bay. It was very icy with slippery mud. We saw a few people fall over. Then we stopped at the back of a shingle beach for a picnic of sandwiches and a well travelled chocolate orange. Then we headed
north to the top of Arnside Knott. The view of the Duddon Estuary and Lake District is wonderful. Finally a much needed cafe stop. It was s great to get in the warm.
