Quod oculus meus videt

Kidney Pool, Weston Park

Another bitterly cold night.  The car battery had been on charge all night and I was relieved when it started first time and there were no warning notifications of a low charge.  I'd already decided to take it for a good run so headed to Weston park to capture the park in these frosty conditions. I still stopped on the way to capture the colours just before sunrise (see extra 1).

The kidney pool has been used in the past for the equestrian events that used to take place at the park. It provided a useful reflection for this tree.  Other shots include an aerial using the drone of the house in the frosty surroundings as well as the Temple of Diana.

Afterwards I visited another garage to look at cars. I'm toying with changing to a full electric, something I don't think I'd have contemplated until recently.  With cars now offering 350+ range it isn't much less than I can get from my current car due to the small fuel tank.
