Car Shopping

This morning, the frost was so thick that it looked, at first, like fallen snow. A low mist hung over the countryside, diffusing the bright winter sunlight. We had a relatively early start—Gabriel and I have to go car shopping now that he has passed his driving test. After a short trip to St Nicholas-at-Wade, we looked at and ultimately bought a little black Toyota Aygo. This resulted in an extremely happy Gubs, so we celebrated on the way home with breakfast at McDonalds. Vanessa is working all weekend, and Milo is staying over at Liv’s, so the rest of the day was relatively peaceful.
