Everlyn

A very pleasant day indeed, first weekend off for a few weeks and I'm determined to make the most of it.

Down to Stockbridge for a browse in the shops and great (and cheap for January!) Franco Manca pizza for lunch before a walk along the Water of Leith to the Modern Art Gallery for a coffee and to see the highly impressive Everlyn Nicodemus show.

We left at dusk (as you can see in the image from the entrance) to head up to Fountainbridge for a screening of We Live In Time - a film that was simultaneously heartfelt and quite preposterous. But I do really like Andrew Garfield and I do really like Florence Pugh, and that counted for a lot. A couple of drinks in The Fountain across the road before home. Tomorrow? Kind of more of the same probably. Opportunities, you know...
