Snow difference

Same sh*t, different day as regards the grim weather! Also, in regard to the bins which have not been emptied again - 21 days now and no collections before Monday. Not convinced they will come at all!
I love how the trees, bushes and shrubs look with the white frosting. Extra photos of the frost on Terry's wing mirror and the snow in part of our back garden.
We ventured out to Tesco - not because the weather was any better but because we were desperate to do something.
The car park and walkways there were pretty good having been made shopper-friendly and only very minor areas a little slippery.
However we called at Morrisons on the way home for a couple of items and it was a different story. Treacherous. The little pull-in where you drop off and pick up was cleared but from there you had to cross the walkway to the store entrance which had not been treated and very difficult to stand on. My feet were sliding just standing still and I had my walking shoes on which have really good grip on the soles. I moved onto the road to get to the entrance and had to grab a bollard to cross the ice rink to the door!
Coming out 2 young lads were having a whale of a time sliding along the walkway and ending up on their backs but kids just bounce don't they?!
Carrying 2 glass bottles in my shopping bag I was not sure I wouldn't be on my back with smashed glass before reaching the car which Terry had parked up. I nearly went a few times but he saw me and drove up to me - so I grabbed the wing mirror and got back in the car without ending up on my back on the ice rink car park. Result! Morrisons has a high proportion of elderly customers so it's not good that they left their car park and walkways so treacherous.
The snow has melted a bit more but now it's freezing again - we have nothing to go out for tomorrow so we won't be bothered.
I think it's going to warm up from tomorrow.
