Ice bound

Another sparklingly cold, sunny day. The temperature reluctantly climbed above 0c in the afternoon.

We didn’t head of to the seaside again, much as it was very tempting, settling for a walk into town through Mote Park from where todays blip was taken.

Various jobs were completed then we walked home. Oh! Yes! And coffee at Waterstones may have been involved.

The afternoon was almost over and the sun setting before we finished “lunch” leaving.a very short afternoon. Susan cleaned and I hand wrote a letter to a former teacher colleague whose husband had died last year and we only knew when we received her Christmas card.

I enjoyed a run in the cold, crisp early evening fair. The first this year and since New Year’s Eve. A upper respiratory tract infection (a cold) and a bit of lethargy from the first singles jab persuaded me to wait. Not that it affected the walking though!
