Summer Scene in the front Garden

Behind the rose hedge a healthy French winter squash vine is blooming among the white buckwheat flowers, a few volunteer milkweed plants... and other stuff. I saw hidden in there a ping pong ball sized future squash. We call it 'cinderella' because it looks like Cinderella's coach, except this one has loads of warts by the time it is ripe enough to pick from it's 25 ft. vine. The season got off to such a late start that i doubt any squash will get a chance to develop.
