Another Fire Day ......

We drove the car off our very icy street , did a few jobs and then had a grand walk in the park . We chose paths that we usually avoid due to them being a complete mud fest, today they were frozen solid !
The pond in the main and the extra is within easy reach of park goers but only a few know of it. Good news for us and the wildlife that use it . I didn't know about it until lockdown. It's lovely and I have taken a few friends to sit by it  since discovering it.  We lit a fire when we got back and I've read a fair chunk of an Ann Cleeves novel , The Herons Cry . It's the first novel of hers i have read, its gripping , will probably end up having a late night but first a video call with our `Swedish family . 
We have a playdate booked in for tomorrow with our two local grandchildren , that will wake us up from our \ my current dozy state.
