Saturday

I managed to get to sleep quite quickly compared to other nights (although still around 2am) and woke stupidly early. It was freezing so stuck the heating on and got a hot water bottle and blanket, hoping maybe to get back to sleep on the sofa (I didn't). 
Enjoyed my breakfast in the warm and a bit of tv. 
Went down to the shore later on with Mum for  a coffee and a wander. Parts of the Water of Leith and in the port was frozen. 
Back to put the heating back on and the hot water bottle is still warm from this morning; quite impressive.
