The North Esk valley

Today saw the first "2nd Saturday Strollers" walk of 2025; and we've had a really glorious time, up in the Pentland Hills - clear, calm weather and wonderful snow :-)

We started our route from the village of Carlops, and basically did a circuit out along The North Esk valley to the North Esk Reservoir, then up and over the nearby Patie's Hill, eventually returning back down to Carlops.
