It is S’s birthday today but he is still in bed with flu. All plans cancelled so it’s been a quiet one. I nipped down to Harwich after breakfast to renew supplies of lemons and honey and get some chicken broth etc for the patient. It was bright here but foggy down there. But then shortly afterwards the fog did roll up here too though intermittently.
I spent some time pottering around outside, cleaned up the greenhouse and tidied up the pots. It was nice to get out into the fresh air abd it feels lighter now. Cooked elaborate lunch for one just to pass the time. The birthday boy still not hungry.
