Let them eat.....scones!

For the past five years I have been clearing rubbish out of our cellar. You would think there would be nothing left.....there is. I took a car load to the tip yesterday and after this morning's effort, I have another load to take on Monday.
I had put some chicken and vegetable soup on to cook whilst I was cleaning the cellar, so had something warming for lunch. Our cellar is freezing. To finish my busy day, I decided to knock up some cherry scones, the quickest and easiest 'cake' to cook. I shall now sit down with a cup of tea, read my book, and eat scones with lashings of butter.
