‘Getting our parkrun Fix’

All but one of the four parkruns in the immediate Edinburgh area were cancelled today on account of the icy conditions. The exception was Holyrood parkrun, the route of which follows the road round the edge of Arthur’s Seat - the remains of Edinburgh’s very own extinct volcano - which was ice free.

So MollyG and I headed there, joining nearly 500 others for the briefing that takes place before all parkruns. With a beautiful, clear morning and even more amazing views than usual, the 100 metre climb was well worth it!
