Chilly collage

I just love the lights and the frost and chill and the.. I could go on. I love the winter.. sorry, but I think it is the Scottish blood in me. Woke to thick fog (mostly c/o our neighbour who was belching it out of two chimneys and his boiler!) but soon the sun broke through over the hill. We headed out to have coffee with our daughter on the boat which is frozen into the canal now.. it was still down in the freezing fog and very chilly there. Still the drive was something to behold and with valleys fog bound and trees peeping through and branches and tall weeds and grasses sparkling in the frost it all felt quite magical.
So one photo was not enough for today.
Home again and above the fog again.  3C warmer here at +1.5C at 2.30pm and blue skies all around. 
Now to paint.. 
My daughters skating trip has been postponed as her friend fell through the ice on the meadow.. so she decided it was not for her today.. perhaps tomorrow if it keeps freezing!
