Bitterly cold

A frozen crab apple. There were a lot of Fieldfares and Redwings around today but they definitely preferred the fresh apples I threw out as opposed to the frozen variety. It hasn’t thawed at all today and almost as soon as I manage to fill the bird bath up with fresh water it freezes over. Hopefully this is the last day of this extremely cold weather
