parkrun Falkirk

The weather played havoc with the parkrun events again this week but this time I managed to find a local (ish) event on in nearby Falkirk.

I hadn’t done this one before and was very impressed with the route, the setup and of course the participants/volunteers.

Once completed I actually ended up volunteering myself to help with the barcode scanning as the queues were so big.

They’re not used to the extra numbers. Bonus for me is also get a volunteering credit which was a nice surprise.

I met MrsT’s cousin K there and her husband B and two of her kids. That was a nice catch up.

Nothing major planned for the rest of the day. Got ten pin bowling this evening at Murrayfield with the FiL as per usual.
