Sika watch

We got Sika one of those cat towers complete with scratching posts and a pompom for her to try and catch. She seemed to enjoy playing with the components as we assembled it more than when it was finished. Maybe she'll grow into it. Anyway, here she is near the top, vaguely interested in the pompom. 

My other activity today was going to the gym to do at least some of the exercises the exercise physiologist has been getting me to do. I persisted reasonably well through the lack of fun.

There is a tiny bud on the queen of the night orchid cactus. I photographed it and documented it in my calendar. I want to measure the time from now until it opens.
