Gemsquash update

The Gemsquash are coming along. We were a little late to plant this year (last year we were eating them by now.
This afternoon two herons visited us just before sunset, sitting on a dead tree in the house paddock. It appeared to be an adult White necked heron and a juvenile that was nervous about being left behind.
