The Red Shoes at the RSC Swan

We nearly didn’t go; partly because it was cold and icy, partly because the reviews weren’t good, and also because R has an early start Saturday for an event a few hours away.
Anyway we put our big pants on and went and had a good time. Nice meal before and the play was highly entertaining. Nothing like the film, very much back to the original HCA fairy tale with a modern twist - no happy endings!
( Sadly we hit a fox on the way home but not sure that was weather related - just bad luck ! )
