500th .....

.... blip.

I had planned on a different blip for today but it's been pouring down all evening so I resorted to putting on a wetsuit, goggles, snorkel, flowery swimming cap and flippers and heading off up to the Cow & Calf rocks. I was joined by Mr P and Mr M who both very kindly helped out.

Mr P helped shoehorn me in to the wetsuit ( it was like trying to pack a suitcase for a long holiday on a budget airline, with lots of pushing and tugging trying to get the zip to close ). Once up at the Cow and Calf, Mr M was on shutter and umbrella duties, whilst Mr P did the torch waving to light me up. They were both a great help and I couldn't have taken this tonight without them ( at least not without getting arrested for indecent exposure ;) )

I'm now 500 consecutive days in to blipping and loving it as much as I did when I started. Since my last blipday I've been fortunate enough to meet a few more lovely blippers in person and hope to meet up with some more of you soon ( if this photo hasn't put you off ). It's been said before, but the best thing about blip is you lot reading this. I'm constantly inspired by and in awe of your wonderful photos and write ups. I'll be back for more tomorrow.
