1936 Riley Merlin

Another beautiful old British car still driving around Christchurch. These are also known as the Riley 9. Merlin refers to the all steel body  produced by Briggs. Earlier models had a fabric body.. At 1087cc these were a lot faster than some of the other small cars of the era. They had a top speed in excess of 60mph (100kph).
