The Jungle

There is an unused part of our garden which is a bit of a jungle. Every few years it gets a clean out but soon regenerates.
A friend from the valley is keen for some gardening work so she came the other day and in several hours cleared an enormous amount of undergrowth. 
I also had a productive day when I became inspired to clean the fridge and then some of the rest of the kitchen. After spending all year at the farm the Blackheath house really is in need of a spring clean.
The sun came out for a while this morning. Long enough to dry two loads of washing, but now the rain is back. Not that I mind.
