15 Years

Due to back blips and missed days my official anniversary is 75 days away and seems longer than reality. Today is in fact the 15th anniversary of my time blipping. I began January 10, 2010. This seems a bit crazy to me, just as it does when I look in the mirror and see an “old lady” looking back at me. In a week I turn 82. So I was almost 67 when I began this journey. A lot has happened in those 15 years. On the whole I am as happy as I’ve ever been. That’s partly due to being retired and being able to do more of the things I love, like making art, spending time with family and friends, and of course my life with Shelly, the current love of my life. I am lucky to have had two in my lifetime. In the early days my husband Arvin was often a subject here and now it’s Shelly. Life is good and I feel so very grateful for it all.

That the photo is “the Fool” is not a comment on my life. :-) It’s a first draft of my first Tarot card and it’s not finished yet. I have more drawing to do before adding watercolor.
