Brilliant all round treatment from this hospital. Really glad my Memmingen Urologist recommended that I came here. Ironic that he himself trained at Memmingen under the very same Professor who threw me out just two days ago. In fact my urologist treated me when he was training & the Prof was an arrogant, young consultant who had been made head of the department.  He wasn't made a Prof for several years.

Nice sunny 10 minute walk through Munich to the railway station & home. Haven't used trains for decades, actually quite pleasant if not quite so flexible & today being an August  tourist Saturday was packed with people and bicycles heading into the Alps. Had to stand from Munich to Buchloe when changed trains.

But best bit, German introduced a nationwide calendar monthly ticket for all public transport, excluding fast intercity trains. So includes busses, trams, even some ferries,  underground. And applies the length & breadth of the country. It cost a ridiculous €9 a month last year [2022]., this year still a bargain at €49 even for me doing just two return trips from Memmingen to Munich. Same cost for a commuter doing it 5x week for the entire month!
