Book Number 2

Pottered about this morning tidying out a cupboard in the dining room.
Walked round the golf course in the afternoon. Some of the paths are quite slippery but it was good to get out.
I listened to Maya Angelou's autobiography during lockdown on my daily walks. She had a very difficult early life and this book concentrates on the period when she was 16 to 19 years old. Remarkably she was a chef, tap dancer, ran a brothel and involved in prostitution herself all while bringing up her young son. I've now ordered the next book from the library.
