Anne's Daily Encounters

By dutchdelight

Clay Hills, Cretan Capadocia, Komolithi,

We'd seen photo's from these clay hills, named Komolithi, but never before visited them; today we went to see them and had asked my Benjamin to come along too.

Those weird shaped hills, what are also named as Nature's Pyramids of Clay, and are also referred to as Crete's Capadocia, are located in Chania province and not far away from Kissamos town. Sweetheart did walk into the field as well and took some photo's like we also did, but we forgot to take one with one of us near or on a hill as to show what their size is, reasonable large  as you can tell from the trees in the backdrop. The weather was fair when we were here,

driving more to the South West, we finally got to Kefali, it rained most of the time. In the extra a photo from Kefali plus one from Sweetheart at the entrance of a small Byzantine church he's studied lots about... he'd taken me there in 2017.

Friday and another weekend about; wishing you all a Happy and Safe weekend!
