White and blue…

The lady who bought our sofa messaged me this morning to confirm she and her brother would collect it this evening.  I can’t believe how many people expressed interest, with varying levels of entitlement!  I’m so glad it’s gone to this particular lady as I know it’s going to a good home.  

We were full of good intentions to get loads of things done today but other than Lauren coming to do my nails, the afternoon just slipped away from us.  Oh well, we can be busy tomorrow :-)  Weather was absolutely bitter but so beautiful.  

The lady arrived to collect the sofa just before 6pm. She had the most gorgeous little kitten with her in a little cat sling.  I got to cuddle it while D and her brother loaded the van.

I remembered this afternoon that our coffee table and two lamp tables from our previous house have been in the garage since we moved here so I offered her those too and she was delighted to take them.  A win for both of us :-))

Got word from Ele to say Nikki is in hospital and our second great niece is on her way!   Exciting!  That focussed my mind and I started crocheting a little hat to match the second blanket I made.  Stopped to watch The Traitors.  Honestly, what a useless bunch!! Shouting at the TV is unavoidable watching this junk! Not sure I’ll watch next year’s although I will give the celebrity version a go :-))
