Winter Wonderland

Mr P was due to walk the John Buchan Way (Peebles to Broughton) with our friend Stuart today, but his knee has been playing up (osteoarthritis) so he (Mr P) cancelled yesterday evening.
His knee felt much better this morning, so we decided to brave the sunny but freezing -5 temperature and go for a long walk in the hills above the town. We had to watch our footing because of the icy paths but once we were higher up and in the woods, we were mainly walking on soft snow. We spent the afternoon sitting by the fire and tonight we watched Emilia Perez on Netflix. I’m not a big fan of musicals, with the occasional exception, unfortunately this wasn’t one of them.
