Night out

Enjoyed a lovely frosty walk with Phin in the morning. It’s a little tricky walking in the frozen mud but much nicer than sloughing through the mud..

More washing of bedding, a quick clean up of the cooker hood, stovetop and kitchen worktops, some hoovering and an hour working on the baby blanket and it was time to get ready to go out and meet three friends from Rock choir.

Visited an Italian restaurant I haven’t been to before but I’ll definitely go back. They had such a huge range of dishes at the cheapest prices I’ve seen in a very long time. The staff were kept busy as the restaurant was really busy but they were also very attentive. We enjoyed garlic bread to start and all chose 1/2 pizza and 1/2 pasta of varying choices. Three of us shared a bottle of wine and the total bill including tip was £20 a head. Incredibly reasonable for the city centre.

It was a very chilly walk back from the bus stop.
