Freezing Friday

Fortunately I had no plans at all for today. Given the frosty scene outside, I made the right call to stay indoors and sort through some of the “stuff”, and now have another bagful of decent items to donate to charity.

Two friends, one aged 80 and the other 93, have fallen over in separate incidents yesterday and have been having x-rays etc at Colchester Hospital today. In both cases I believe it may have been down to the icy conditions - please be careful everyone, it’s absolutely treacherous out there at the moment. It can be a big shock to the system just to have a fall, even without sustaining a physical injury, so I’m praying my friends will both be okay.

As it was sunny, I did walk up to Tesco’s in the village this afternoon for a few bits and to get some fresh air and exercise. Here’s another of Tesco’s finest bouquets which I stole a picture of for Flower Friday - thank you to BikerBear for hosting.
