Friday: Red Sky in the Morning …

… usually comes with a warning, but we had a pleasant enough day!

I had a lazy start, then refilled the sunflower seed feeders for the birds. MrD had cleaned one of the saucers we use for water for the birds, I found 3 more and gave them fresh water :-)

I finished making the pickled red cabbage I’d started beginning of the week then spent the rest of the morning reading, finishing the John Grisham book which was a wonderful story that kept my interest until the final page :-)

Jason, our window cleaner arrived at the end of the morning with a new assistant - a very interesting young man who was fascinating to talk to, my parents would have said “old beyond his years”!

Mid morning I was filling the bird feeders and this collared dove was very interested in what I was doing, just a couple of feet away.

The almost full moon was rising over the sea just before 2pm.

ADDED LATER: tonight’s film is “Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger” …
