Robbies Shoe Repairs

Took 2 pairs of shoes up to Robbies in York Place to have them soled and healed. Been going for years and always excellent service. Nothing changed today as I thought as the man was waiting at the door to meet me. Alas as how showed me in to the shop he has had to sell his machines, an empty shop apart from a few customers shoes on the shelf waiting to be picked up! Reason for this is the Trams and he is selling up after as many years as I can remember. A sad day and wish him all the best in the future.
