"Feeling battered"

Yesterday this rose tree stood tall with its blooms looking so bright and tall. as I walked by today it was leaning over quite battered by the heavy rainfall yesterday. It looks as though its leaning on the wrought iron to prepare for more bad weather, I'm afraid that it may be right. Im relieved the fence has cushioned it and hopefully when the sun returns it will be bright and tall again.

Some days I feel a little battered myself lol :))
