Snow, Sun and Stones

Best viewed large.
We were supposed to be going to Birmingham but Toria cancelled. 
The snow beckoned and we headed off to the Lakes starting with Castlerigg Stone Circle. It didn't disappoint. There were a few other photographers there and I regretted not bringing my grown up camera. The sun, snow and stones brought a lot of joy to my soul.

The Square Orange was our lunch destination. We were early because they get very busy, just as well because they had a planned power cut at 12:30, that was interesting.
I had my usual browse around Maysons before taking shots of Derwent Isle and Catbells before heading home.
