The Hat

Yesterday Madhatter blipped the hat in the photo ….she’s working on it I told her I Ihad a photo of it ……
and this is it .
It’s my Great Uncle and Aunty getting married in the 1920s .
After leaving the army in 1918 my uncle returned to working as a milkman with a horse and cart in Westbourne .
They were a lovely couple ,they stayed very happily married into their seventies ……sadly when his wife died he took it very badly …….
and we always thought he actually died of a broken heart……
