Eagle and Nest in Driftwood

I crossed the lake to Evian today. The sky is dull, but the water is calm for the crossing.

The lovely home help was at Jean’s cleaning and getting lunch.

I was happy to see that some of the beautiful driftwood sculptures have been left along the lake. I saw this very impressive and very large eagle on the water’s edge.

I’ll be taking the mid-afternoon boat back to Lausanne. Jean is having an after-lunch siesta.

I see that it’s raining lightly now, but the lake is still calm.
