Salty

The local guys who did the windscreen arrived exactly when they said they would and only took about 30 minutes to replace the screen.  After that it was a long but straightforward drive home.  The roads were all free of ice or snow and well gritted.  Of course that meant that the car got completely coated in salt and much from the roads, and I got through a LOT of washer fluid.

It was lovely to get home and see MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr.
