My day….

Late loading tonight…..internet not behaving.
A full on day for me, very social with a lot of variety and fun.
My friend from Auckland hit town yesterday afternoon.  We had a brief catch-up yesterday afternoon making arrangements to meet for breakfast at the restaurant over looking our beautiful Caroline Bay.  Generally when out for brekkie I choose Eggs Benni and that was my choice again this morning. Far too large and I couldn’t finish it all.  
Lynn and I had a great blether covering all sorts … health, travel, families and photography.  Lynn is a past president of the Photographic Society of NZ and is well respected within NZ and Australia.
Lynn had asked to go to our beautiful Basilica, we spent an hour inside an outside.  I’ve put a black and white set on Flickr (phone photos)
From there we went to a cafe in town and met up with oldTimer who also knows Lynn.  They had a good catch-up.  By this time it was 11.30, Lynn headed off to Christchurch and I went home for a quick change of clothing.
Doug and I were off to a luncheon at our friend’s place, celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary.   As we do very well our group celebrated in style.  A nice extra was a friend from Perth, lovely to spend some time with her. It’s been many many years since we’ve seen her.  
So, it’s been a big day and an enjoyable one too.
