Landline

This is a photo of the landline in the hall. There is also one upstairs in the hall. They both have the longest extension cords known to man. They are from an era when relatives and friends were calling frequently. My mom was very social and involved with many organizations. She was constantly on the phone. Long distant calls were very exciting. We still have the landlines because we have some relatives that still call on the house phone. Mom uses a cell phone now because the volume and tone is far superior. Just funny to think about how life has changed.
