Payback Time

After last weeks shocking defeat I made sure I brought my A Game to the party today!! I won 4 games to nil. Ollie was a little sweaty at the end...

In other news, after 5 years of service at Cuckoo Design I finally left today. I had a meeting with Roz and Justine and we all decided it be best if I left and came in to work as and when I'm needed, as opposed to just doing a 4 day week, which didn't work out as the best option in the end.

It doesn't feel sad to leave in any way shape or form. I feel so relived and 'unchained'. I am slightly apprehensive about finances but I think I've made the right decision. I should have left 3 years ago so there is a slight feeling of relief that it's finally happened now. And after seeing a fellow senior designers work today and the fact the Creative Director didn't utter a word to me all day (even though he knew this was going on) was testament to my leaving reasoning. Both absolutely shocking!
